We have a strong reputation on advising the boards of various membership charities on the problems of enforcing control over branches and local groups whose members are not Companies Act members. We have restructured charities so that members are bound by the articles of association and subsidiary regulations and in particular by the rules governing branches and local groups. Out team generally advise on all aspects of company law as they affect charities and social enterprises. Our charity and company law specialists work with our multi-disciplinary team of commercial lawyers, all of who are experienced in dealing with third sector organisations.
