Anne has a wealth of experience advising healthcare individuals and organisations. She is ranked in Chambers & Partners for clinical negligence and professional discipline and Legal 500 for clinical negligence.
She leads our healthcare litigation team with Kirsten Blohm where she defends a range of cases including birth injury claims. Her clients include NHS Resolution, medical defence organisations, and individual practitioners.
Anne also represents the interests of doctors facing General Medical Council investigations. She advises on tactics, Rule 7 responses and other issues that arise during GMC investigations, including preparation for MPTS fitness to practise hearings. She represents clients at Interim Orders Tribunals of the MPTS and GMC Investigation Committees.
Anne advises healthcare professionals facing criminal investigations including murder, gross negligence manslaughter, rape, sexual offences, theft, assault, and misconduct in a public office.
