Bryn Morgan

Bryn established and leads our burgeoning Southampton office, which opened in 2021, and is a partner in the Hempsons Real Estate team.

He looks after the premises interests for a diverse range of clients, including GPs, dentists and other healthcare professionals, NHS trusts and Integrated Care Boards, professional bodies, charities, livery companies and housing associations. He offers his clients a pragmatic and down to earth service which utilises over 20 years’ of experience acting across the public, private and third sectors on a variety of property transactions.

Bryn has particular expertise in and enjoys:

• acting for GPs on:
  • the development and improvement of their surgery premises – including accessing grant and bank funding, working with commissioners and negotiating with third party developers and other stakeholders;
  • premises issues relating to partnership changes (including routine succession and mergers), mortgage refinance and leases;
• hospital developments and delivery of major projects including key worker accommodation;
• advising on the premises aspects of large-scale NHS reorganisations (including transfers of estate between NHS bodies and mergers and acquisitions);
• overseeing the legal aspects of estate management for a number of NHS trusts, livery companies, housing associations and third sector bodies.
