Hempsons welcomes three trainees

We are delighted to announce that three trainee solicitors have started their two-year training period at Hempsons.

Our aim is to give our next generation of solicitors the exposure of working with a variety of highly-experienced partners across the firm. Each trainee will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of four different legal teams.

Robert O’Regan has joined our Healthcare Litigation department in London. Robert previously worked at both the Ministry of Justice and NHS Improvement in advisory and analyst positions. At NHS Improvement, Robert worked alongside Trusts and GP Groups providing healthcare analysis and leading on London-wide estates issues on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care.

Kalani Bogahalande has joined the Healthcare Regulatory team in London. Kalani previously worked at Hempsons in the Healthcare Litigation Team from 2017-2018 and has a wide understanding of NHS Resolution Clinical Negligence claims. Pior to joining Hempsons as a Paralegal, Kalani worked at another Defendant panel firm as a Paralegal and has experience in working on Clinical Negligence, GMC/GDC and Inquest files. She also worked at the Medical Defence Union in the inhouse legal department as a Paralegal.

In Manchester, Thorrun Govind has joined our Healthcare Advisory team. As a practising community pharmacist, she has been a strong advocate for healthcare and healthcare professionals. In 2018 she was named ‘Young Pharmacist of the Year’ by Pharmacy Business Magazine and awarded a ‘Pharmacy Champion’ Award by Greater Manchester Local Practice Network.
