Arran Firth

Arran joined Hempsons in 2020 as a newly qualified solicitor in the healthcare litigation team following the completion of a healthcare-focused training contract at a tier 1 defendant firm. Arran has proven experience in defending NHS trusts in medical, surgical and mental health claims. Arran has a wide range of experience in healthcare-related work, including inquests, court of protection matters, and public law cases.

Arran graduated from the University of York with a degree in law (LLB) in 2013 before undertaking a masters degree at King’s College London in medical law and ethics. He then worked as a paralegal, specialising in clinical negligence, during which time he benefitted from a secondment working in-house at a mental health NHS trust.
