Five top tier rankings for Hempsons in the Legal 500 2023 UK guide

The Legal 500 2023 UK guide has been published, and Hempsons are thrilled to have received five Tier 1 rankings across three practice areas in four of our offices, as well as 17 individual recognitions for our colleagues. 

Defendant clinical negligence

The most significant change in this year’s Legal 500 rankings sees us move to tier 1 for our clinical negligence practice in Yorkshire & Humber, a huge success for the hardworking team in our Harrogate office. We have also remained in the top tier for clinical negligence in London and the north west.

London defendant clinical negligence

Kristy Harkett is a newly listed London Rising Star in the Legal 500 rankings this year, whilst John Holmes has remained in the London defendant clinical negligence Legal 500 Hall of Fame. Mary Menjou is listed as a London Leading Individual, and Gautam Chawla is a London Next Generation Partner.

North west defendant clinical negligence

Anne Ball and Kirsten Blohm are listed as north west Leading Individuals, and Jennie Chapman is listed as a north west Next Generation Partner.

Yorkshire & Humber defendant clinical negligence

Kathleen Wilson has been listed as a Yorkshire & Humber Leading Individual for clinical negligence.

The Legal 500 ranks Hempsons in the top tier for public sector healthcare law in the north, north west, and Yorkshire & Humber; and the second tier in London.

Crispin Pettifer is listed as a north healthcare law Leading Individual, and Stephen Maratos is a Next Generation Partner.
