Hannah Cheesebrough

Hannah combines her background in criminal litigation and her experience in regulatory practice to provide effective and considerate representation to clients facing a wide range of allegations at various stages of criminal and regulatory proceedings.

Hannah has particular experience of acting for medical professionals and police officers and understands the further considerations which can complicate matters for such individuals.

She is regularly instructed to act for healthcare professionals whose fitness to practise has been called into question, from preparing the initial observations in response to the allegations through to providing advice and representation at fitness to practise hearings.

Hannah also frequently represents individuals at police interviews where criminal offences are being investigated and she has succeeded in avoiding charges being brought against her clients.

Hannah has also previously been instructed to provide advice and assistance to individuals who are not formally being treated as suspects but rather are being treated as witnesses to incidents where there is the risk that offences could be alleged against them.
