Emma Lambourne

Emma is a Senior Solicitor within the Healthcare Litigation team. Emma joined Hempsons in January 2024. Whilst Emma works for and alongside the Harrogate team, she is physically based in Manchester.

Emma originally studied a non-law degree at the University of Cambridge, before then completing the GDL and LPC at the University of Law. Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2020.

Prior to joining Hempsons, Emma spent 9 years working for a national Tier 1 Claimant law firm. With the exception of completing seats in the Court of Protection and Military Injuries departments during her training contract, she has worked exclusively in the field of clinical negligence since 2014.

Emma has a varied caseload including A&E, fatal, GP, obstetric, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, psychiatry and surgical claims.

Emma works with a number of local NHS trusts and enjoys providing training alongside her litigation work.
