Rachel has a range of experience, advising Claimants, individually represented GPs and surgeons, as well as Hospital Trusts, which makes her well placed to understanding the various perspectives, and so she adopts a balanced and adaptable approach to her claims work.
She enjoys technical aspects of the law and procedural requirements associated with litigation.
She also has a varied experience of claims spanning multiple specialisms to include birth injury claims, medication errors, surgical claims, orthopaedic infections and delayed diagnosis.
She is an advocate for learning from mistakes and improving patient safety and offers training on the claims process itself as well as the lessons that can be learnt from each individual incident.

Outside of work I spend lots of time keeping up with family and friends, both locally and scattered about the country, ie I prioritise socialising over any healthier pursuits that would give me kudos in this bio, though I do love a long walk whether that’s at the coast or some lovely woodland.
