Jessie Somerville

Jessie joined Hempsons in January 2024 as a solicitor in the corporate and commercial team where she works predominantly with the primary care team. She has experience in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including but not limited to due diligence, sale and purchase agreements, corporate governance, banking and security.

Jessie studied Law at Southampton Solent University where she received a first before completing her LPC LLM at the University of Law, Bristol. Jessie went on to gain experience as a paralegal in a commercial property team in Bristol before undertaking her training contract at the same national Legal 500 firm and qualifying into their corporate team in 2022.

Outside of work I enjoy running and have taken part in the London Marathon and several half marathons to raise money for various charities. I enjoy setting myself new challenges with the latest being to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in summer 2024! Within the firm, I am part of the environmental committee, on Hempsons Living Our Values committee.
