The introduction of CQC’s new single assessment framework has caused significant frustration among health and social care providers, prompting a public apology from CQC for the challenges faced.

To support social care providers during this challenging transition, we have partnered with Care England to launch a comprehensive toolkit that thoroughly analyses each of the 34 quality statements. The toolkit has been created by our head of social care, Philippa Doyle, whose invaluable experience with CQC equips her with a profound understanding of the regulator’s inner workings and processes.

What’s included?

The new toolkit aims to demystify the SAF and provide a clear guide to navigating each of the 34 quality statements (QS) effectively. It helps providers understand what CQC is looking for and how each QS relates to the fundamental standards of care regulations. By reflecting on compliance and identifying the necessary evidence, providers can showcase their services in the best possible light and secure ratings that truly represent the quality of care they deliver.

    We accept payments for the toolkit via bank transfer. Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email with payment instructions. You will be contacted by a member of our team with a link to download your toolkit within one working day of your payment being processed (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm). If you have indicated that you would like to purchase training, Philippa will be in touch to arrange a mutually convenient date and you will be invoiced after the event.
