Claimant Refused Permission to Appeal
Stephen Hooper, who instructed Jeremy Hyam QC of 1 Crown Office Row, successfully represented a GP at the Court of Appeal, before Lord Justice Floyd. The case related to prescriptions of benzodiazepine medication issued by our client to the Claimant over a number of years. The matter went to trial in December 2016 and the Claimant had sought Permission to Appeal the Judgment of Mrs Justice Andrews but, after hearing submissions from Mr Hyam QC, Lord Justice Floyd refused permission to appeal.
