We are delighted to announce another addition to our Newcastle office. David Naughten joins as an Associate having previously worked at well-known commercial firms in Newcastle, bringing a wealth of experience to our commercial property team in the north.

David’s experience includes advising clients on the granting/taking of commercial leases, including retail, commercial offices, industrial and healthcare premises. He regularly advises on all aspects of leasehold/estate management including licences to assign, licences for alterations, agreements for lease, licences to underlet, deeds of variation, rent deposit deeds and other arrangements.

The announcement comes soon after Alison Oliver joined our Newcastle office as a Partner earlier this year as part of Hempsons’ specialist GP and dental team. Alison has over twelve years’ experience of advising healthcare businesses and practitioners, helping them find practical solutions to the unique and complex challenges they face.

Stephanie Rafferty and Matt Donnelly also recently joined the Newcastle team. Stephanie has expertise in high-value employment law and commercial disputes, with a focus on acting for employers. Matt provides advice on a range of corporate and commercial issues with his expertise lying in intellectual property, commercial drafting and data protection.
