Summer 2022 partner and associate promotions at Hempsons
Hempsons is delighted to announce this year’s round of partner and associate promotions.
With effect from 1st July 2022, Clementine Robertshaw and Rachel Croft have been promoted to partner, and Rachael Hawkin, Sam Stone, and Bronya Greatrex became our newest associates.
Clementine joined Hempsons in 2019 as an associate in our healthcare advisory team and specialises in mental health law. She is a very experienced advocate and frequently appears in inquests on behalf of healthcare providers. She regularly delivers training to mental health and acute clinicians as well as legal teams, including for the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Find out more about Clementine.
Rachel also joined Hempsons in 2019 and leads our property litigation team, working within the wider commercial team in our Harrogate office. Rachel’s practice encompasses the full spectrum of real estate disputes, and she has acted on multiple high-profile real estate disputes in the high court and lands tribunal, as well as various county court disputes. New associate Rachael Hawkin joined Hempsons as a trainee solicitor in 2017 and is a member of our health and social care advisory team, regularly advising and representing CCGs and trusts in Court of Protection cases. She also provides advice and support to social care and private health providers as well as challenges and appeals to the regulatory body. Learn more about Rachael.
Also in our Harrogate office is associate Sam Stone, who joined Hempsons in 2013 as a paralegal before completing his training contract and qualifying in 2016. Sam works across our commercial and healthcare advisory teams, assisting clients with a broad range of disputes relating to the commissioning, purchase and provision of health & social care. Bronya Greatrex is the newest associate in our employment team in London and joined Hempsons in 2018 after qualifying as a solicitor in 2017. Bronya has a keen interest in litigious work particularly in employment and the employment appeals tribunal and has advised a range of clients including NHS trusts, Royal Colleges and charities through the tribunal process. She has particular experience in defending unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. Read more about Bronya.
