Claire is an associate with the healthcare litigation team in our Harrogate office. Having started her legal career as a paralegal with the same team in 2011, she left us to undertake her training in Cardiff but returned upon qualification in 2014. Working in-house for NHS Wales during her training contract provided an immersive and unique experience through which she gained perspective that she has carried forward into her work with Hempsons’ healthcare clients.
Claire currently runs a caseload of NHS Resolution clinical negligence files, including GP and inquest work alongside higher value hospital claims. She has completed various secondments with NHS Resolution over the years and has intermittently taken charge of co-ordinating training for her team.
