Experienced advisers on Royal Charters
We have extensive experience of advising Royal Charter corporations on amending Royal Charters, Rules or Bye Laws.
We regularly advise leading societies and other national bodies considering applying for a Royal Charter.
We recently advised a leading national charity on substantial changes to its Royal Charter including a complete rewrite of its byelaws, presenting the proposals to the Privy Council and Charity Commission and obtaining their approval. At the outset we were commissioned by the Chief Executive to produce a report on governance options and were a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee which guided the governance review.
